French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have reportedly turned down the chance to sign unsettled Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
According to the report from Miguel Delaney of the Independent via bleacherreport, PSG are not interested in signing the 29-year-old and that the French capital club is contented with the fearsome attacking trio of Edinson Cavani, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
PSG don’t have any problem with his £500,000 per week salary but the player is already entering the latter stages of his career at 29 in addition to the fact that he’s struggling with his form at Manchester United.
The Chilean international had earlier ordered his agent to get him a move to PSG in the January transfer window but it looks like the move won’t happen.
Alexis Sanchez might have to continue to endure his frustrating spell at Manchester United.
He became a Red Devil in January after putting pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year deal until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Sanchez joined Manchester United from Arsenal in a swap deal involving Armenian international playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
He has scored just four goals for the club in all competitions.
