Liverpool are already thinking ahead for next season’s campaign as they are reportedly in talks to hold their pre-season tournament in China for the coming 2019/2020 season.
Having spent their last season tour in the United States, the Reds are set to storm far East for their next tour as they hope to cheer also with their fans, Negotiations are believed to be taking place already.
With three clubs expected to converge to play a mini tournament, La Tercera reports that the Reds will have Chilean side Colo-Colo and Shanghai SIPG FC in China.
The hint has already been dropped by Liverpool’s chief commercial officer Billy Hogan who said his side are looking forward to coming to China to have another pleasant tournament.
Billy Hogan said the fan base of the Reds is growing in that part of the world and there is a need to be on the ground to relate live with their supporters as well as entertain them with the game.
Meanwhile, Liverpool last visited Asia in 2017 where they competed in the Premier League Asia Trophy alongside Crystal Palace and Leicester City in Hong Kong.
Liverpool are hoping to conclude this season with a trophy as manager Jurgen Klopp has done three years without a title to his name.
