Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan could move for in-form Manchester United forward Anthony Martial when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
According to the publication from sempreinter, the Nerazzuri would move both Martial and Real Madrid playmaker Luka Modric once Beppe Marotta is confirmed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Marotta recently left Italian rivals Juventus and he’s expected to be announced as the new chief executive at Inter Milan.
The aforementioned report further revealed that Inter Milan will make a move for both Modric and Martial once Marotta has been added to the Inter Milan board.
Croatian World Cup star Luka Modric was heavily linked with the Italians in the summer after his exertions in Russia.
He surprisingly led Croatia to the final of this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament before they were beaten 4-2 by eventual winners France.
Modric was then linked with a possible reunion with national team colleagues Ivan Perisic, Marcelo Brozovic and Sime Vrsaljko at Inter Milan but nothing came out of the transfer rumours.
Inter Milan are also interested in signing Anthony Martial who has had a very good start to the new season.
The Frenchman has scored six goals in the last five league games.
