The claim by Empire of the Kop stating that Liverpool are yet to recover from the transfer of star player Philippe Coutinho seems to be causing a stir amongst Reds fans.

The Brazilian left the Anfield to join Spanish giants Barcelona after an impressive season with the Merseyside club.

The current dip in form has forced talks of the Brazilian player to resurface with Empire of the Kop stating that though the money earned from his sake has been able to bring Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk but his space remain unreplaced.

Coutinho’s last winner against Manchester City in the 2013/2014 Premier League game will not be forgotten in a hurry.

But the fact that claims were made that he is missed will not be accepted by Liverpool fans who took to twitter to make their displeasure to the statement known.

They argue that without Coutinho, the club was able to come close to a Premier League win as well as playing in the Champions League final.

Meanwhile, some have blamed the loss of form by Egyptian Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Suggestions, therefore, that manager Jurgen Klopp should focus more on helping his trio forward in finding their lost form.
