Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has debunked transfer rumours linking Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck with a move to the club when the transfer window reopens in January.
Earlier transfer reports had claimed that the Eagles are preparing a bid of around £10m for the former Sunderland player as they look to boost their attacking options.
Crystal Palace have struggled to find the back of the net regularly in the new Premier League campaign.
The Eagles have scored just eight goals in their first eleven games.
Reacting to those rumours linking the England international star with a transfer to the club, Roy Hodgson revealed that there was nothing concrete in the transfer reports.
He further revealed that anything can happen during the January transfer window but his team is well equipped in the attacking department.
Roy Hodgson mentioned the attacking options at his disposal.

His options include Christian Benteke, Jordan Ayew, Alexander Sorloth, Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend.
Ivorian international winger Zaha is the Eagles’ topscorer in the league this season with three goals.
Danny Welbeck could be a very good addition to the Crystal Palace setup.
He has already scored five goals for the Gunners despite his lack of regular playing time.
Welbeck has less than a year left on his current deal at the club.
