North London giants are reportedly facing an English stumbling block in the quest to sign young striker Cyril Ngonge when the transfer window comes around in the next few weeks.

Ngonge currently plays his club football for Belgian top flight league champions Club Brugge.

According to the specific publication from popular English news outlet Daily Mirror, Cyril Ngonge is one of the brightest prospects in his country thus attracting the attention of scouts from major European clubs, including Arsenal and Premier League rivals Liverpool.

The Gunners will have to see off the challenge of the five-time European champions to get their transfer target.

Scouts from other clubs like Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Lille and Inter Milan have also been spotted in UEFA Youth League games involving the young striker.

Scouts have been present during games against Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and AS Monaco.

Cyril Ngonge is a Belgium u-19s striker and he has been in sensational form for his club in the UEFA Youth League.

He has scored four goals in four games for Club Brugge.
