Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson will forever be grateful to inform Chelsea player Ruben Loftus-Cheek for saving the club from relegation when he had a loan spell at Selhurst Park last season.

Loftus-Cheek had 25-games with Crystal Palace last season after he was unable to secure a starting role at the Stamford Bridge under former manager Antonio Conte.

Hodgson explained that the English player was a star in his team and his presence was very impactful in ensuring his side play in the Premier League and not the Championship this season.

The former England boss stated that he is happy to see Loftus-Cheek see more games knowing that he never had the opportunity to do that the beginning of the season.

He praised the Chelsea player for being a star and a figure who made an enormous impression at Palace last season.

Efforts by Hodgson to have the 22-year-old back at the club failed as he is ready to stay with the West London club to fight for a place under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

The young lad is, however, expected to be selected in the line-up today to face his former side when they clash on later on Sunday evening.

Neymar has told PSG officials that he wants to leave the club this summer after growing frustrated with life in Paris.

The 27-year-old is keen to return to Barcelona ahead of the new season billed for next month.

The Brazilian international scored 51 goals in 58 appearances for PSG during an injury-hit time at the Parc des Princes.

PSG officials want to sign Gareth Bale in exchange for long-term Chelsea target Neymar.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has already made his position known on Welsh international star Bale.

Ryan Sessegnon

North Londoners Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in pole position to sign Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon this summer.

This is according to the report from the Daily Express which claimed that Spurs are the frontrunners to sign the young English player but they are not ready to pay more than £25m for him.

Fulham want more money for Sessegnon but they are almost handicapped since he has one year left on his current deal with the Cottagers.

Tottenham Hotspur are the only club interested in Ryan Sessegnon.

Apart from Spurs, Ryan Sessegnon has also been linked with clubs like German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund as well as the Premier League trio of Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Ryan Sessegnon broke into the Fulham team during their Premier League promotion campaign from the 2017/18 season.

He scored 18 goals for Fulham as the Cottagers secured promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.

Fulham won the final of the Championship playoff during that season after the narrow 1-0 win over Aston Villa.

Ryan Sessegnon were unable to replicate their Championship form in the Premier League after they suffered relegation back to the second tier of England after finishing as the worst team in the division bar Huddersfield Town.
