Manchester United and Chelsea are set to battle for the signature of Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa in the coming window.

Both sides have shown strong interest in the player and are reported to be preparing bids for him to have a switch to whichever sides of England he chooses at the end of the day.

The 21 years winger has scored a total of 12 goals and 16 assists in 82 appearances with the club while at a young age, he has enjoyed nine caps for the Italian national team.

His presence in Italy has made it that clubs in the league including Inter Milan, Napoli and Juventus seek for his signature having played against them and showcased what he is made of.

However, reports according to Calciomercato stated that English side Manchester United are the latest to show interest in the young lad with Chelsea leading in the race.

The Old Trafford side have got young lads of that age bracket including Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial which makes them more interested in Chiesa to have him join the club.

Chiesa is reported to have a clause of about £52 million on him as the only option that can make Fiorentina release him. He is very much valued
