Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed what he thinks was responsible for his side’s poor start to the new season.

The former Inter Milan and Chelsea boss talked about the Red Devils’ poor start during his pre-match press conference ahead of the away game in the Premier League against in-form Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Mourinho blamed the fixture list for the poor start as he maintained confidence that his team will turn the situation around completely.

Manchester United would be targeting a third victory from four league games when they take on the Cherries.

The Red Devils have recorded seven points from the last three matches in the Premier League.

Their Premier League renaissance started with the comeback win over struggling Newcastle United.

Manchester United came from two goals down at halftime to beat the Magpies 3-2 courtesy second half goals from substitute Juan Manuel Mata, Anthony Martial and another substitute, Alexis Sanchez.

The Newcastle game was followed by the 2-2 draw with rivals Chelsea.

French international Martial scored a brace for the Red Devils against the Stamford Bridge outfit and he was also the star of the show as Manchester United recorded a second straight league win at home courtesy the 2-1 victory over Everton in the last game.
