Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed fears over the goal number of goals between his side and other league contenders.

Liverpool’s 4-1 win at the weekend fired them to the top of the league but that might not remain the case if Manchester City win their game against Tottenham on Monday as they have scored more goals than the Reds.

Also, The Anfield side are being threatened by Chelsea whose 4-0 win over Burnley places them two points behind but with more goal difference to make a boast of.

In his reaction, the German manager stated that it is wrong to make claims on goal difference at the moment owing to the fact that there are still more games to be played.

He added that his side cannot be said to be at a disadvantage going by the number of goals they have been scoring per games which to him is expected to continue from time to time.

Klopp insists he will not have his players play under pressure because of the reason as he hopes to keep winning games and scoring goals per game. That to him is most important.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss is bent on winning a title this year and he will not be ready to leave anything to chance.
