Liverpool are looking forward to making a big history for the club against Cardiff should they again, keep a clean sheet on Saturday.

The Reds have not only gone unbeaten in the Premise League, they have also not conceded a single goal in the last nine games at home. Another repeat of the record against Cardiff will have Liverpool keep their 10th clean sheet at Anfield.

The Reds legend Michael Own has admitted his former side are not in the same level of form they were at the beginning of the season but asserted that they could still do it against their Saturday opponent.

Liverpool are looking forward to maintaining the force they had last season so as to push for a title win and it could be possible with a perfect record at home.

With a lanky defence last season, manager Jurgen Klopp has been able to find the solution and the balance with the recruitment of Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

The German manager has vowed to work as hard as possible to win a title this season as he seeks to win his first as Reds manager in his three years in charge.
