Real Madrid are reported to have stormed London with their lawyers in order to have talks with Chelsea over their legal issues with former manager Antonio Conte.
The Spanish giants are making frantic efforts to have the Italian boss anytime soon as a replacement for Julen Lopetegui who could be sacked after the coming of El Clasico against Barcelona.
Madrid have been thrown into crisis after the departure of their former manager Zinedine Zidane and Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo.
With Conte’s availability who has been favoured by Madrid President Florentino Perez, there is a need to settle the ongoing legal battle between their candidate and his former club.
The Italian boss had taken the Blues to court for delaying in their decision to sack him. According to him, it took the Stamford Bridge side 55 days to sack him and that cost him another top job.
He has therefore demanded compensation from the West London side with the case already in the court.
Madrid are making efforts to see how there can be an agreement between the two parties that will have Conte forgo part of his £9 million demand so as to complete his recruitment to begin his new job at the Bernabeu after the El Clasico clash.
