Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly in pursuit of four players ahead of the upcoming transfer window in January.
According to the report from popular English news outlet Daily Mail, the Portuguese tactician wants to sign four players when the transfer window reopens in January.
The four players are Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Manchester United winger Ivan Perisic, Eintracht Frankfurt forward Ante Rebic and Fiorentina centre back Nikola Milenkovic.
Milinkovic-Savic has churned out impressive performances for his Italian Serie A side in the last two years and that has attracted the interest of European heavyweights like Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Mourinho stepped up his interest in the Lazio star when he personally checked on him while he was on national duty with Serbia in their 2-0 away win over Montenegro.
Croatian stars Perisic and Rebic are also transfer targets for Manchester United ahead of January and the former came close to joining the Red Devils last summer but his Italian Serie A side managed to tie him down to a new deal at the San Siro.
Rebic has also been linked with a move to German champions Bayern Munich.
Serbian international defender Nikola Milenkovic is rated £60m and has been linked the Red Devils as the solution to the club’s defensive woes this season.
