Napoli seem to be on a revenge mission as they attempt to take Chelsea right-back Davide Zappacosta in the January transfer window.
Aside from the signing of their manager, Maurizio Sarii, Chelsea have been able to rip off Napoli with the signing of Jorginho, in addition to reported plans to lure Insigne Lorenzo away from the club.
Although, the Italian side are believed to have made up their mind to block every departure from the club to the Stamford Bridge but they will attempt to sign Zappacosta who is rumoured to be considering an exit from the club.
The 26-year-old has had only three appearances to his name this season with the Stamford Bridge club, two Europa League start and a few minute play in the one Premier League game.
Although, Zappacosta had refused to leave the club in the summer when offers came knocking but it is believed that he is already considering a change of heart so as to secure more playing time elsewhere.
According to Italian TV channel Ral Sport, Napoli have added Zappacosta to their shortlist of additions in the summer window and will lure him with a promise of a first eleven start.
It is, however, not clear if the Italian side will come for a loan move or a permanent deal but a loan move will be easier to be attended to than a sale of the player.
