Reports emerging suggest that Real Madrid had taken Tottenham’s midfielder Christian Eriksen as a target ahead of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

According to revelation, the Spanish giants see the Tottenham star as a better potential than Hazard who has no age as an advantage as Eriksen.

Cadena COPE says that Eriksen is now on the top list for Madrid’s January transfer wish list but are willing to wait until the next summer to have the player.

Eriksen and PSG’s Neymar are now the targets for Real Madrid’s Florentino Perez to come to Spain next season.

The Tottenham midfielder was a target of Barcelona before the Spanish side later moved for Arturo Vidal but he is favoured to a move to Madrid should the right offers be tabled for him.

With Luka Modric already ageing, Madrid are confident that the plan A should be Eriksen or Neymar before thinking of Chelsea’s Hazard.

Chelsea manager and fans had urged the Belgium international to consider a stay at the club as a move to Spain might not favour him.

With a great form for his Stamford Bridge side, the midfielder has accepted to remain at the West London and has made it clear he is ready for talks with the club for a new deal.
