Chelsea’s 3-0 victory against Southampton has raised them to the second position in the Premier League table, behind Manchester City and above Liverpool.

Chelsea were handed victory by goals from Eden Hazard, Ross Barkley and Morata ensures the Blues to share the same 20 points with Liverpool and Manchester City.

The race for the Premier League title has become so unpredictable and competitive that the first three on the log have the same points and are only separated by goal difference.

However, the London club manager Maurizio Sarri is still not positive about the chances of his side for the title against the other popular contenders.

According to him, both Liverpool and Manchester City have the edge over his side in the title hunt despite playing a 0-0 draw on Sunday.

The former Napoli manager stated that his side are only making efforts to cover the gap between his side and the other teams, adding that it would be a difficult task that could take a whole season.

He, therefore, stated that his side needs to do better and take more of their opportunities each time they come to get the race going.

The EPL title race is now intense with Arsenal two points behind the first three on the log.
