Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed claims that the title race is only a contest between his Anfield side and Manchester City.
Klopp made this claim after his side failed to defeat Manchester City at home with the game ending in a 0-0 draw.
The result now places Liverpool at the 3rd position in the table with Chelsea’s victory lands the behind league leaders, Man City with both three sides having same 20 points after 8 games.
Klopp, therefore, stated that the race has been made open and it is now a four club race, pointing to Arsenal as contenders.
Arsenal are two points behind the first three on the log with 18 points after thrashing Fulham by 5-1
He noted the Gunners as well as Chelsea are in good shape and can also mount the stage with time.
The German manager, therefore, admits his side have done well after claiming having 20 points at the end of 8 match days is unbelievable to him.
However, his side are unbeaten so far in the Premier League, as well as Chelsea and Manchester City.
Klopp believes the fight continues and will only have a shape when the season gets so far next year, stressing that it is too early to talk about title challenge now.
