New Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is expected to make several changes to his starting XI ahead of the Blues’ home game against Vidi FC in the Europa League.

Vidi are champions of the Hungarian league and they travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in a Matchday 2 clash on Thursday night.

Ahead of the game, Sarri will give the majority of his first-team players a rest to preserve them for the upcoming Premier League clash away to Southampton on Sunday afternoon as the Blues seek to continue their bid for a second league title in three seasons.

Star names like Eden Hazard, David Luiz, Jorginho and many more will most likely be exempted from the game.

Former Napoli boss Sarri could make up to ten changes for the Vidi game as he bids to give his fringe players some quality time on the field of play.

Fringe players like Cesc Fabregas, Gary Cahill, Victor Moses, Andreas Christensen, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Emerson Palmieri and many more will feature for the Blues against their Hungarian opponents on Thursday night.

Predicted Starting XI: Kepa Aribbazalaga; Davide Zappacosta, Gary Cahill, Andreas Christensen, Emerson Palmieri; Cesc Fabregas, Ruben Loftus-Cheeks, Ross Barkley; Pedro Rodriguez, Victor Moses, Alvaro Morata.
