Chelsea under new manager Maurizio Sarri has been praised for their great start this season which has made them tipped as title contenders.
The Blues are 3rd on the log but not too far from leaders, Manchester City and Liverpool as they are only 2 points behind.
The season so far is a delight to Chelsea fans and the manager has been praised for making it happen.
However, the former manager has a different feeling as he is not too satisfied with the squad setup and he has made it known to the club owner, Abramovich.
Sarri feels his team is incomplete and needs to bring in an addition in the January transfer window so as to compete and close the gap between his side and the league leaders.
According to The Mirror, the Italian manager wants to add a young defender to his squad with reports that he is eyeing Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani after failing to have him in last summer window.
The Stamford Bridge side are now a new-fangled team with the new attacking style under Sarri.
The players have also been hailed for adapting to the new possession style of football that is played under the new manager.
