It has been revealed that Chelsea have completed the capture of academy coach Jack Mesure from Crystal Palace.
The talented youth coach will now replace the Blues former youth coach Steve Hingham who left the club in the summer for Manchester United.
The 30-year-old was highly regarded and very popular at Palace but had to move on for reasons best known to him.
With an official announcement still expected from both clubs as at press time, the news was made public by London News Online.
Before his departure, Mesure spent about 10 years working with the youth team at Crystal Palace and will be missed.
Palace will now be faced with the headache of replacing Mesure with such level of pedigree and capability.
Chelsea are looking at improving their youth team in order to ensure they are promoted into the first team.
Most current Chelsea players were never youth players at the club and the London club is not known for the development of talents like United, Southampton.
It is important for the Blues to invest in their academies so as to hold the pride of nurturing a player from the youth stage to being a world class player.
‘Stubborn’ Bayern Munich ready to submit fourth bid for Chelsea star
German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich are not going to give up in their attempt to land Chelsea wonderkid Callum Hudson-Odoi as they are now reported to be preparing a fourth bid for his signature.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has been on the radar of the Bundesliga team for months with Bayern Munich making an attempt in the last winter transfer window by submitting three different offers which were rejected.
The West London outfit are keen to keep the star player, especially with fears that they will be losing Belgium international Eden Hazard at the end of the season to Real Madrid.
Chelsea are of the opinion, according to reports that they will only have Callum Hudson-Odoi leave the club should they gain the assurance that the Belgium international playmaker will not be heading to the Spanish capital.
It is claimed that Bayern Munich are ready to pay the sum of £30 million for the youngster despite his lack of playing time at the Stamford Bridge.
However, the Blues are being careful not to lose their players knowing that they will not be able to land new players in the next two transfer window following the ban handed them by FIFA.
Chelsea’s best player admits he is not any close to this Liverpool star
Belgium international Eden Hazard is no doubt Chelsea’s best player at the moment and he has confessed not to be anywhere close to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, noting that he one of the four players he looks up to.
Eden Hazard has been firing for the Blues with 13 goals and has handed 11 assists in 29 Premier League games for Chelsea this season which is below the 17 goals already scored by the Egypt international playmaker for the Premier League leaders.
However, the Belgium international signs praise of the former AS Roma player as he noted that he is doing all in best to match the Liverpool star.
Eden Hazard ranks Liverpool’s star player amongst world stars like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luca Modric, insisting that Mohamed Salah is one of them as he hopes to get to their level.
However, Mohamed Salah led his team into finishing second in the league last season and has already begun with his efforts to land the title this season.
Meanwhile, the Blues star Eden Hazard could be leaving the West London at the end of the season as he is already being linked with a move to the Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.
The Chelsea star who inspires Arsenal teenager revealed
North London outfit Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson has pointed to Callum Hudson-Odoi as the Chelsea player who inspires him.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has seen only a few appearances in the Chelsea team but that did not stop his call-up to the England senior national team under manager Gareth Southgate.
Reiss Nelson is currently on a loan deal with the German Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim and has shown good quality which is already catching attention from a number of teams but there is no way the North London outfit will want to part ways with him.
The Arsenal teenager stated that he has played against Callum Hudson-Odoi in the youth league, noting that they are friends and have gotten along with each other for a long time.
He stressed that Callum Hudson-Odoi has been inspiring as he always makes a player push harder for a bigger level, noting that his call-up to the senior national team is another big inspiration for him.
However, there are suggestions that the North London outfit could ask Reiss Nelson to return to the Emirates Stadium as he has shown he is ripe enough to compete at a bigger stage and in a big side like Arsenal.
The two deals Chelsea want to seal despite transfer ban
West London outfit Chelsea are set to tie two deals ahead of the coming season as it is now obvious that they will not be able to secure any deal until the next two transfer windows.
The Blues were found guilty of going against the FIFA transfer rule which is against deals with under-age players and have been told they will not be allowed to register any player until the summer window of 2020.
However, the Chelsea chiefs are already considering the option of handing new deals to Willian and David Luiz who are already running out of their contract with the club.
Both Brazilians have also indicated interest in staying at the Stamford Bridge by extending their contract with the club.
However, the West London outfit will be forced to go against their transfer policy of not handing more than a year contract extension to players who are over 30, which have been the demands of the duo.
Meanwhile, the Blues have already secured the signature of Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic and he will be joining the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season while Chelsea will also make attempt to keep Belgium international Eden Hazard at the club.
Chelsea to return for rejected player
West London outfit Chelsea are already considering returning for the signature of Nathan Ake from Bournemouth after having him sold in 2017.
Nathan Ake immediately proved the Blues team wrong for having him sold and not believing in him by picking up a fantastic form with Bournemouth. He has so far been impressive this season and has won the heart of manager Maurizio Sarri who is now keen to have him back.
The 24-year-old Dutchman was at the Stamford Bridge between 2012 to 2017 where he struggled to impress and break into the first team. This is the reason why he was allowed to leave on a permanent deal but the Blues had included an option of first refusal in the deal to Bournemouth which means they will have the first option to land him when he is leaving the club.
Nathan Ake has had 72 appearances for Bournemouth since he joined the club and has been impressive enough to get attention from his former employer.
Suggestions are that the Blues will do all it takes to have Nathan Ake at the club but they are being limited by the fact that they cannot sign a new player until after two coming transfer windows for breaching the transfer laws by the world football governing body FIFA.
Former United Chelsea boss says he has turned down three or four offers
Former Man United boss Jose Mourinho has boasted that he is still jobless because he doesn’t want the offers he had gotten, noting that he has turned down about three or four jobs since he left the Old Trafford in December last year.
The Portuguese boss was sacked by the Red Devils after failing to motivate the players as well as his inability to deliver good results which translated into a dressing room crisis and rift with his players.
He has therefore made it clear that he is now ready to get back into football management in the coming summer window and that he is preparing for the new challenge.
It would be recalled that the Portuguese boss has managed at Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Porto which is the reason why his choice of a new team remains a big side and not an average team.
Jose Mourinho had earlier explained that the reason why he has been jobless is that the clubs that have approached him have not shown any big ambition which does not go with his taste as well.
However, the former Red Devils boss did not make it open if he already has an offer he is willing to accept or not but there are suggestions that he could return in the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid fans favour this two Chelsea players for summer move
There are indications that Chelsea duo Marcos Alonso and Eden Hazard are wanted at the Spanish capital to join Real Madrid ahead of the summer transfer window, should the wish of the fans be considered and granted by the management.
The Spanish giants are desperate for a new start by the coming season and that will happen with the recruitment of new players that will help bolster their team as well as transform them to a winning side again.
Real Madrid were hit with the departure of Zinedine Zidane at the end of last season and could not recover until they had him return. The Los Blancos struggled all through this season until they were dumped out of the Champions League and the Copa Del Rey, while they are no longer in contention for the La Liga title this season.
However, the two Chelsea stars have been tipped by the fans as the players the club need to make the difference and deliver good performance for the team in the coming season.
In a recent online poll where over 200,000 Real Madrid fans voted, 71 Percent of them said they want Marcos Alonso in the team while the second highest was Eden Hazard who polled 37 percent votes.
Willian makes big claim on Chelsea future
Chelsea players are beginning to speak up on their stance with the club ahead of the coming season, knowing that they will not be able to secure additions to the team, a development that will limit their chances of a quality competition against other big sides.
The West London outfit have been handed a two transfer window ban for involving in transfer deals with players who are under 18 regarded to as minors by the world football governing body FIFA.
Brazilian international Willian is one of the players who have the opportunity to leave, knowing that he has got one year left but he has stated clearly that he wants to remain at the Stamford Bridge, which means he will be hoping to talk with the club for a new deal.
However, Willian admitted that he does not know the plans of the club for him and cannot tell if they need him at the club in the coming season or not because they have not held any talks together.
Willian stressed that the West London outfit is a special club to him noting that he has won titles at the club as well as earned love and respect from the fans.
Why Olivier Giroud considers Chelsea exit
French international Olivier Giroud is reported to be considering a move away from the West London outfit to the French Ligue 1 as he can no longer guarantee a starting role at the club ahead of the coming season.
Initially, the former Arsenal striker was hailed by manager Maurizio Sarri despite his lack of goals but from all indications, he is now getting tired of that and demands goals, knowing that he has got his job on the line.
However, Olivier Giroud’s contract at the West London outfit runs out later in June and there are no indications he would be handed a new deal which means he will be considering the offers available for him.
Olivier Giroud has described the situation of sitting on the bench as frustrating, noting that he has not been playing regularly since January aside the Europa League, a development he can no longer bear.
The former Arsenal striker, therefore, made it clear that he does not have a choice for his next destination, he is opened to any club that will be willing to hand him playing time.
However, suggestions are that the West London outfit will not keep the French man anymore at the Stamford Bridge, not minding the transfer ban.
Ex-Arsenal Striker Open To Lyon Switch
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has openly talked about the possibility of leaving England for French Ligue 1 club Lyon at the end of this season.
The former Arsenal striker could leave Chelsea at the end of the current season when his Blues contract expires.
Giroud told Footmercato that a return to France is eye-catching especially Lyon.
The French World Cup winner pointed out that Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas publicly talked about a possible transfer for him as he pointed out that he wants to feel important again.
Olivier Giroud became a Chelsea player in January 2018 after he joined from London rivals Arsenal.
The 32-year-old put pen to paper on an 18-month deal with Chelsea until the summer of 2019 after the Blues paid £18m to secure his signature.
Since his transfer to Chelsea, Giroud has already played second fiddle in the striker’s department.
Ex-Chelsea manager Antonio Conte used star player Eden Hazard as a false nine at the expense of Giroud last season especially when first choice striker Alvaro Morata was not available and current Blues boss Maurizio Sarri repeated the same thing earlier this season.
Olivier Giroud has rarely enjoyed first-team opportunities since his move to Chelsea except in inferior competitions like the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
