Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck has been linked with a move to fellow Premier League side Everton ahead of the January transfer window.
Welbeck, 27, has been a bit-part player under new Arsenal manager Unai Emery and he has been linked with a move away from the club.
The former Sunderland star has less than a year left on his current Arsenal contract and there’s no sign of new contract talks with the club leading to reports about a transfer out of the Emirates Stadium.
Danny Welbeck joined Arsenal from top four rivals Manchester United during the summer of 2016 in a deal worth around £16m.
His time with Arsenal was rocked by two serious knee injuries and that prompted the Gunners to splash the cash on the striking duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
Since Unai Emery took over as Arsenal manager, the Three Lions of England forward has found his touch in front of goal.
He’s the joint leading goalscorer in the team this season with four goals alongside the aforementioned Aubameyang.
Welbeck opened his account for the season in the 3-1 London Derby win over West Ham United in the Premier League before adding to his tally during the 4-2 victory over Ukrainian side Vorskla Poltava in their Europa League opener.
He then scored two goals in the Carabao Cup third round win over Championship side Brentford to lead the Gunners to the fourth round via a 3-1 victory.
