Manchester United Captain Apologises For Social Media Gaffe

Manchester United captain Antonio Valencia has apologised for liking a social media post calling for the dismissal of manager Jose Mourinho.
He liked a picture of himself which carried a caption that partly read: “It’s time for Mourinho to go”
The Ecuador international star is rumoured to be one of the players who has an axe to grind with the aforementioned Portuguese tactician.
This incident is the latest in the series of problems surrounding Jose Mourinho and Manchester United.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been heavily criticised after his side’s underwhelming start to the new season.
Antonio Valencia’s social media gaffe is coming on the back of the Red Devils’ disappointing goalless draw at home to Spanish La Liga club Valencia.
The draw in the Matchday 2 clash ended their perfect start to the Champions League group stage ahead of the upcoming doubleheader against Italian champions Juventus in Group H.
The result against Valencia took the hosts’ winless run to four games dating back to the Matchday 1 away clash against minnows Young Boys.
France World Cup winner Paul Pogba scored twice in addition to a second-half strike from compatriot Anthony Martial to give the Red Devils a 3-0 victory.
Unai Emery must get this player ASAP or he loses him to Liverpool as Klopp shows interest
