Arsenal manager Unai Emery is reported to be planning to steal Piotr Zielinksi from Liverpool’s sight.
Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp is believed to be tracking the Zielinksi’s progress knowing the player is under contract with Naples until 2021.
The player has been a long-term target of the Liverpool manager as far back as 2015 when he was at Udinese but it seems he will not have the 24-year-old anymore with Emery ready to bring him to the North London anytime soon.
The Spanish manager has identified the young lad as a befitting replacement for contract rebel, Aaron Ramsey who is on his way out of the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.
Sport Mediaset has claimed that the Poland midfielder Zielinski is now wanted by Emery later this season.
Napoli are aware of the interest from the Emirates Stadium and are making efforts to hand a new contract which will have the player remain at the club until 2022 but will be willing to let him go at a release clause of £65m.
Ramsey has been identified as an important part of the new playing style at Arsenal, hence his departure will create a vacuum in the Gunner’s midfield and that avoided.
