Happy James Milner says the situation would have been different at Liverpool

Liverpool star James Milner has praised the quality of his side after earning a point at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Red team are still unbeaten so far, all thanks to Daniel Sturridge who ensured his side did not walk home with their first defeat with his late equaliser.

However, Milner stated that what gives him more joy is the fact that his side creates more chances which places them in a better position to score goals.

He noted that the situation would have been different and everyone would be worried if his side do not create enough chances.

The 32-year-old said it’s always important to secure a point instead of a defeat in all games.

Milner noted that his side still have areas to improve upon to help secure more points as serious title contenders.

He hopes his side are able to win their next two games before the international break later which comes up in coming days.

Liverpool will be travelling to Italy on Wednesday to face Napoli in their Champions League Group C encounter.

Second-placed Liverpool in the Premier League faces a big test of Manchester City on Sunday. The winner of the game will determine to lead on the log.
