Liverpool fans can’t stop praising this 5ft. 7inches tall midfielder after Chelsea’s draw

Though he was played out of position by Jurgen Klopp in their latest Premier League clash against Liverpool, Netherland international Georginio Wijnaldum was impressive for the Reds throughout they encounter.

The Dutchman is always in his best whenever he featured at the attacking midfield position, but Klopp decided to push him to the left-wing midfield so as to include Henderson and James Milner in his starting XI.

Wijnaldum had a great night in an unfamiliar position, making sure he prevented Chelsea from making any attacking move from his flank.

Having seen the player’s awe-inspiring display for the team, Liverpool couldn’t stop praising him. They took to social media to sing his praise for being a standout performer in a game that saw James Milner and Henderson struggle with the Blues pace.

Here are some of the best tweets from Liverpool fans

Dan (@DanArmitage1990) praised the Dutchman for his display at the center of the pitch. Dan, who claimed that the player is always anonymous in away games, admitted Wijnaldum was immense for the Reds throughout the encounter.

Matt (@falseFirmino) admitted that the midfielder stood out from his teammates and he impressed once again.

ToobanLad (@toobanlad) tweets
“Gini Wijnaldum has gone up a serious level this season. Excellent again yesterday. The improvements in him and Gomez have made the spine so much stronger.”

The 27-year-old has played 99 matches for the Reds in all competitions since he joined the Merseyside club from Newcastle in the 2016-17 season in a fee which was reported to be £25m including add-on fees.
