Antonio Conte

Former Chelsea player, Diego Costa who joined the West London club in 2014 won the Premier League title in his first year along with a League Cup before getting his second Premier league cup in his final season under Antonio Conte.

The howler began when the Spanish forward was linked with Chinese Super League club in January which tempted Costa with a desire to make the move, leaving Mitchy Batshuayi as the only possible striker who wasn’t as good as Costa in his time.

Although Costa snubbed the exit door while he focused in his team’s success to cap Conte’s first Premier League title, not until afterwards he got a message from his former boss that he was no longer in his plans.

Costa remained with his family in Brazil after he conceived that he wasn’t going to play with Chelsea’s team B.

“I had to live my whole life with my family. I have other values that no money can buy.” He said.

The goal poacher was furious about Chelsea’s handling in the situation as he yet spoke against his treatment.

“It was a very bad moment but it wasn’t my fault. People said things, but time puts everything in its place. Look where the coach is, look at Conte.” He added.

Costa admits that he’s enjoying his spell at Atletico Madrid and said he was wrong to have left the Spanish side to the West London club.

He plays like “Nedved”, potential replacement for Fabregas
