Watford skipper Troy Deeney has praised the Arsenal duo of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as he prepares to lead his side to the Emirates Stadium at the weekend.
Arsenal host Watford in a Premier League Matchday 7 clash on Saturday and Troy Deeney has been quite vocal ahead of the game.
Deeney spoke about the Arsenal game while he was a guest on BBC Radio 5 Live.
The Watford captain was full of praise for both Lacazette and Aubameyang as he pointed out that his side will have to combat the attacking duo when both sides meet.
Lacazette and Aubameyang have formed a lethal partnership at Arsenal under new manager Unai Emery and that has led to an impressive return of seven goals in eight games in all competitions.
Arsenal started the new season with two successive league defeats to Manchester City (0-2) and Chelsea (2-3) but the aforementioned partnership has since helped the Gunners recover to win the last six games in all competitions.
Alexander Lacazette signed for the club last summer in a then-record deal from French Ligue 1 giants Lyon before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s move from German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund during the January transfer window set a new transfer record at Arsenal.
