Despite being considered the favourite to win by pundits, Liverpool managers Jurgen Klopp will not write off the Blues and their footballing style.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has turned the table squally to his favour since his arrival from Napoli and has made a sporadic improvement that is now inculcated in the players’ heart as Sarri’s football- one style that Pep Guardiola dreads.
Klopp was adamant to agree that the title race is soma as Liverpool versus Manchester City but reckoned Chelsea are amongst the title contenders.
“I don’t know exactly why – Man City being clear or us being champion at the end of the season or whatever but they completely forgot Chelsea,” Klopp said.
Liverpool will host Chelsea on Wednesday and hope to continue their 100% winning run when they face yet another stern test that could be a leeway to their latent cup target.
While Sarri dropped point for the first time against the Hammers last Sunday, no one knows how he would approach the next game against a side who is yet to face defeat.
The 59-year-old manager may give credits to the players who in 12 meetings against the Reds, were more superior, having won 4 times while Klopp saw 2 victories and 6 ended in stalemates.
Both managers will meet for the first time as they clash on Wednesday and during the weekend afterwards.
