Arsenal vs Brentford: check Arsenal’s Injury list ahead of the Clash

The Gunners battle Championship side Brentford on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup competition. The Gunners are in confident mood heading into the game, having won five games out of the seven matches they’ve played so far this season in all competitions.

The North London club are on five-match winning streak and they would be hoping to make it six straight wins when they tackle Brentford in one of Carabao third-round fixtures on Wednesday.

Though Emery is expected to make many changes to his starting lineup, the Spanish manager won’t have the luxury of calling on some players due to injury.

Here are the list of Arsenal’s injured players ahead of the encounter :

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The Armenian forward picked a knock against Vorskla on Thursday. He is set to miss two or three fixtures.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos

The Greek was injured against Everton on Sunday. It was a slight injury, but he won’t be risked against Brentford.

Dinos Mavropanos

Has a Groin problem and he won’t be available for selection until next month.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

The young defender had a small fracture to his left fibula. He is out of contention for a place in the team as he would return to full fitness in November.

Laurent Koscielny

The Gunners captain still remains at the sideline due to his Right Achilles tendon repair.

Though he’s began limping and walking, he’s yet to fully recover and he is set to miss out of Wednesday’s clash.
