Arsenal youth team were dominant in their play once again as they trash Liverpool 4-0 in the U23 Premier League.
The young Gunners were playing at home for the second straight League game and they were able to wallop their league rivals by a four-goal margin.
Though the young Reds had the first sight on goal as Bobby Adekanye tried a long-range effort which went far off the post.
Adekanye also tried another venomous shot from the right flank of attack but Arsenal goaltender Deyan Iliev was equal to the task as he pushed the ball out for a corner.
With Liverpool’s desire to get the first goal of the game, the Reds push many men forward, therefore, creating space for the Gunners to attack.
It was Arsenal who broke style deadlock as 17-year-old wing-back Bukayo Saka scored his first goal of the season by putting the ball past Liverpool goalie, Grabara, thanks to a fine pass from Nketiah.
Eddie Nketiah made it 2-0 before second half when he scored a great goal after Bukayo Saka’s lofty cross found him in a good scoring position.
Willock made it third in the second half of the encounter, once again Saka was responsible for the goal as he forced Liverpool defense to commit some errors.
Though Liverpool had some good goalscoring chances, they couldn’t make them count as the lost many clear-cut chances throughout the night.
Nketiah rounds up the scoreline when he got his second of the game, which was Arsenal’s fourth goal of the encounter.
The Gunners will now face Leicester City on Saturday as they aim to continue their great run of form against the young Foxes.
