Manchester United face Wolverhampton in the week six fixture and Mourinho is keen to see his players maintain their wonderful form on Saturday.
However, Mourinho speaks on important issues during his pre-match conference earlier today. Here are some recap of his discussion with reporters.
United’s injury list
Mourinho revealed there are no fresh injuries in the team. However, he confirmed that Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera are yet to return from their respective injuries.
As for Phil Jones, the Portuguese manager admits the England international is in contention for a place in his starting lineup having returned to full fitness.
Mourinho is uncomfortable with the fact that his players will play two matches in four days.
He claimed that there would be a chance for fatigue to set into the team. However, he revealed his players are ready to give all they’ve got to continue their winning streak.
Dalot’s chance of playing his first Premier League game
The youngster was wonderful during the week but he is set to miss Saturday’s encounter, according to Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager revealed that his compatriot won’t feature against Jorge Mendes team as he won’t risk the player’s fitness, having played two days ago.
United are six points behind League leaders Liverpool but Mourinho is hoping to close the gap separating the two clubs as he urged his men to go for maximum points in tomorrow’s early kick off match.
