Manchester United manager José Mourinho has revealed some of the players who won’t feature in their next matches against Wolverhampton on Saturday.
The Portuguese, during his press conference, confirmed that Diogo Dalot won’t be forced to play on Saturday, despite his fine performance against Young Boys on Wednesday.
The Portuguese manager is considering the player’s age and fitness level as he is just returning from a knee injury, therefore, Dalot will have to wait before making his long-awaited Premier League debut.
Mourinho also confirmed that Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera are on their way to full recovery, though, they won’t be in contention for a place in tomorrow’s game.
Phil Jones is ‘OK’ and could be given the chance to feature against Jorge Mendes’ team but it is likely he start from the bench.
Marcus Rashford and Nemanja Matic, who both started against their Swiss opponents during the week, are on suspension and they are set to be frozen out of Mourinho’s squad list for tomorrow’s encounter.
Sanchez and Jesse Lingard are set to regain their place in the first XI, having missed out of Wednesday’s victory.
