José Mourinho is definitely a happy man after seeing his men registered another away win against Young Boys last night to give him a third back-to-back victory.
The Portuguese manager was under intense pressure to keep his job after two straight defeats in the start of the season but he has somewhat managed to ease the pressure as result of his straight wins.
Yesterday’s clash against Swiss Champions Young Boys, on an artificial turf, went well for Mourinho as his players were able to score three goals without conceding.
The Red Devils took the lead via Paul Pogba’s beautiful goal. The Frenchman doubled his tally when he perfectly scored from the spot to give the Red Devils a 2-0 lead before halftime.
During the break, Mourinho told his players never to be complacent in the second period of the game.
According to the Portuguese manager, while speaking to reporters after the game, he told his players never to concede like their two previous matches.
He charged them to maintain their brilliant display throughout the encounter.
Just as he wanted, his players added a goal to the scoreline to make it 3-0 in their favour.
Elsewhere, Juventus – who are in the same group with the Red Devils – defeated Valencia 2-0 despite having a man sent off in the 23rd minute.
Former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for touching Murrilo’s hair. The Portuguese goal-poacher might miss a return to Old Trafford, should his three-match ban remains.
