José Mourinho is reportedly set to drop Alexis Sanchez from his starting lineup in today’s Champions League clash with Young Boys.

The former Arsenal star hasn’t hit his best form for the Red Devils since his switch from the Emirate Stadium last season, he has managed just three goals in 23 matches.

As a result of his uninspiring performances this season, Mourinho has decided to start Marcus Rashford at the left side of attack ahead of the Chilean international, while Sanchez picks a spot on the substitute bench.

There have been lots of debate as regards the youngster’s future at Old Trafford as some pundits advised him to go elsewhere if he wants to develop his potential and become a world-class striker.

Some pundits want him to remain under Mourinho’s tutelage and fight for a place in the team.

The youngster would be given the opportunity to show to the Portuguese manager he deserves more game time.

Rashford’s introduction into the starting lineup will definitely add more pace to United attack, considering the pace and speed possessed by the young Englishman.

United should be able to get past their Swiss opponents considering the quality in the team and their recent run of results.

As for Alexis Sanchez, though his link-up play is improving, he needs to start scoring goals so as to justify his price tag.
