Arsenal’s lively youngster Xavier Amaechi has been ruled out of action until 2019 after picking up a foot injury.

The Gunners youngster has enjoyed a great start to this season as he’s promoted the club’s U23 side despite being eligible to feature for the U18 team.

The England youth teamer is a skilful winger, whose pace and tricks makes it so easy for him to get past defenders.

However, the youngster is set to be sidelined for more than three months of action and that ultimately ruled him out of the UEFA Youth Cup opener in December.

Amaechi’s injury comes as a bad news for Ljungberg who is counting on the youngster’s ability in his mission to win the FA youth cup thus season having lost to Chelsea in the final last season.

In other Arsenal news, the Gunners chief executive Gazidis has officially revealed his intention to leave the club next year.

The 54-year-old admits leaving the club is the hardest decision he’s made throughout his living, however, he believes it’s time for him to give the baton to others.
