It is official, Arsenal confirms the departure of Ivan Gazidis from the Emirates Stadium via their official page.
Gazidis was at the North London club for more than nine years but he believes it’s time for him to leave the club as he accepts an offer from AC Milan for his service.
With his resignation, it will be a totally new era at Emirates Stadium outfits, who changed their manager for the first time in 22 years.
According to the official confirmation of Gazidis’ departure, the Gunners have appointed Venkatesham as his replacement while Raul Sanllehi was promoted to become the club’s managing director.
The new appointees would work together with the club’s Sporting director Sven Mislintant and manager Unai Emery this season so as to ensure they bring the North London to a new and greater height.
This new development has caused a division among Arsenal fans on Twitter. Some fans were happy with the change while some are unhappy that Gazidis is leaving the team.
