Chelsea player Ruben Loftus-Cheek still believes he can fight his way into Maurizio Sarri’s team.
The 22-year-old player was one of Crystal Palace’s best player last season when he joined with Wilfred Zaha and Townsend to help his teammate escape relegation.

Loftus-Cheek’s quality can actually be useful in Chelsea because of his solo run and dribbles; his suave performance helped him earn his first call to the national team and as well, successfully went to Russia.

He has however struggled under Sarri’s team, after playing just 33 minutes and coming from the bench twice in a match already won by the Blues.

He is not out of form, as a matter of fact, he has shown his quality as a player when he featured during Tuesday’s 1:0 victory against Switzerland.

A lot of speculations were reached on whether he would leave for another club but the versatile midfielder insisted that he would fight his way into the starting line-up.

“I’m not sure when I am going to play. It is just down to me working hard in training, I don’t know whether I am going to play or not play but for me it stays the same, I still train well and do everything the right way in case I do play.”

So far so good Mateo Kovacic, Cesc Fabregas and Ross Barkley are battling in the similar position as it appears that Jorginho and Kanté has already stamped their shirt in the first XI.

We could look at it from this angle that he might have a chance because 22-year-old may appear to be a better midfielder than Barkley while Kovacic could return to Madrid next year; Fàbregas is already in his 30’s, so it could require only a test of patience to be part of the starting eleven.
