Arsenal star player Mesut Ozil is being linked with a surprise move to Turkey as reports claimed that Fenerbahce are desperately interested in his signature.

Mesut Ozil is known as a player with great creativity at the middle of the park but Unai Emery is not willing to let the player operate as a playmaker, rather, he wants him at the right side of attack.

The manager’s tactical approach hasn’t gone well with the £350,000 weekly earner and he’s tipped with a move out of the team as soon as the transfer market reopens.

Apart from shifting the former Germany international to the right flank of the field, Emery wants Ozil to add more to his defensive abilities which are obviously not in the player’s playing style.

Having seen how events are unfolding at the Emirates Stadium between the player and his manager, the Turkish Super Lig side are set to lure him out of the North London club in January.

According to Fotomac, Fenerbahce are leading the race for his signature and they might successfully capture the playmaker next year as long as they are willing to offer nothing less than £42m to the Gunners.

Ozil hasn’t fare well since the start of this season. In four matches played so far, the player has started three games(but was subbed off); didn’t feature in one game and he still awaits his first goal of the campaign.
