Arsenal youngster Matteo Guendouzi is reportedly set to spark an international war between France and African country Morocco as both countries want the player in their respective teams.

The youngster has taken the Premier League by storm and he is one of the best midfielders in the League so far this season.

His awesome performances for the Gunners were able to win the Gunners player of the month (August).

However, there are more successes to come his way in coming months as he is being tipped to make his senior international debut any time soon but the question is — who will he play for France or Morocco?

According to reports emanating from the North African country, Morocco national team coach Herve Renard is set to meet with the youngster at Emirates Stadium this week to discuss with him.

Renard is reportedly going to convince the 19-year-old to dump World Champions France for his own side.

Meanwhile, reports from France are claiming that Didier Deschamps is set to hand a debut call-up to the youngster in the next international break (October).

Guendouzi has already featured for France age-grade teams, including U-17, 19 and 20, but there is room for him to chose Morocco ahead of the Les Blues.

As for now, the player must focus on his Arsenal career and shut the door on any distraction that might arise through both countries.
