Arsenal signed Matteo Guendouzi from Ligue 2 side Lorient in the summer transfer market but no one knows who helped the Gunners convinced the youngster to join the Emirates Stadium outfits.
Despite being a new player at the North London club, the 19-year-old has taken the Premier League by storm becoming the Gunners best player for the month of August.
His brilliant performances at the centre of the pitch during pre-season were able to win Unai Emery’s mind as he has become a regular starter in the team.
With Arsenal enjoying great display from the Frenchman, former Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere said the Gunners need to praise him for the role he played in making sure Guendouzi join the team despite interest from many other clubs.
According to Aliadiere, Matteo Guendouzi possesses great quality and he needs a club like Arsenal to develop his talents in a short while.
He told reporters how he convinced the youngster to work with Unai Emery, should he desire to enjoy another level of success in his young career.
Aliadiere played 51 matches for the Gunners between 2001 and 2007 before hanging his boot.
