Arsenal star player Mesut Ozil was reportedly in a heated argument with Arsenal manager Unai Emery two weeks ago and that reportedly cost his place in the team’s squad list in their first win of the season against West Ham.

However, one of Arsenal’s most experienced and longest player Nacho Monreal has debunked the reports claiming there was no argument between the player and the former Paris St-Germain manager.

According to the Spaniard, who recently returned back to full fitness, Ozil is a great player whom media love to talk about.

He revealed the German international had no issue with the manager because he’s a level-headed player who gets along with everyone in the team.

Monreal further revealed the real reason behind the player’s omission from the game against the Hammers a fortnight ago.

According to him, Ozil was sick, he was feeling cold and that was why he wasn’t listed by the gaffer for the encounter.

After the clash against West Ham, the former Real Madrid playmaker was seen in training and equally made a return to Emery’s starting line-up against Cardiff City.

He was majestic at the middle of the pitch as he helped the Gunners to their first back-to-back victory of the season.
