After the brilliant start to the season with four wins in four, Liverpool’s most dreaded era just transformed from bad to worse.
Liverpool players are prone to getting injured due to the pace they deliver on the pitch. But Klopp has been able to manage few of them.
However, recently, it was reported that Adam Lallana has been withdrawn from the England squad by the national manager, Southgate after picking up a groin injury in training.
Southgate had the intention of testing more players in his team, which includes Lallana until he was injured, perhaps it could be because Lallana was included in the match against Crystal Palace.
The Liverpool player was even unlucky to have missed the World Cup in Russia because he was still battling with his form. But his qualities still made his mark in the England squad.
Despite being named as the substitutes, his appearance is cogent enough to show why he got included above Divock Origi and Dominic Solanke in Jurgen Klopp’s pecking order.
Lallana could be a vital player in the Reds when he returns from injury as he understands the style introduced by his boss since his arrival.
Liverpool will clash against Tottenham after the international break and Klopp will, therefore, be concerned about the remaining players as key players like Sadio Mané, Salah and Firmino will be more focused in leading the team to victory next week.
