Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is reportedly furious with the way the club handled his contract negotiations and has made up his mind to leave Old Trafford in the next transfer window.

The Spanish midfielder has been in an awe-inspiring form since Mourinho took over from Ryan Giggs two seasons back ago.

The player was happy with the way things have turned out to be at Old Trafford and he wants to extend his contract by signing a two-year contract extension.

However, the Red Devils board members are yet to offer him a new deal and that hasn’t gone well with Spaniard, who is now set to leave the Theater of Dreams when the transfer market reopens in January.

According to report emanating from Metro, the 28-year-old is ready to negotiate a deal with interested suitors in January.

The player has just a year left in his contract with the Red Devils, therefore, he is free to have a pre-contract talk with clubs in January.

Should United fail to renew his contract before the end of the current season, the Basque-born midfielder might leave the Premier League giants as a free agent.

Brazilian midfielder Fred, who joined the team from Shakhtar Donetsk, has pushed the Spaniard down the pecking order as he seems to have gained Mourinho’s trust.

He has started all the matches played so far this season, while Herrera has only been used off the bench.
