In an interview with the Times publication, Chelsea, Arsenal and other top European clubs were only linked with his signature but they never make any official towards capturing him.
“Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, they saw me but they didn’t say, ‘We want you.’ Because Fulham gave me this respect, although other clubs wanted me, I wanted to sign for Fulham.” he said.
He revealed that Fulham met with OGC Nice president for his signature and that shows they are ready to have him play for them.
According to him, the Blues didn’t respect him as a player they really wanted in their team, therefore, he chose to sign for the team who are desperate for his signature.
