It no longer news that Jorginho has been nominated for the Premier League player of the month award.
The player joined the Blues from Napoli this summer but didn’t look like a player who is playing in the League for the first time as he is presently one of the best players in the League as a result of his fine display for the team.
When asked the reason behind Jorginho’s awesome start to the season, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri revealed that the player is used to his tactical approach to games, so, it’s normal he played with great flexibility and skills at the middle of the park.

The manager coached the Italian star during their time with Serie A side Napoli and Sarri believes that has helped him a lot in understanding what he wants from his midfielders.

“He is used to playing my football so, in the first period of the season, he is very useful for me” he said
Despite having Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard in his team, Sarri claimed that Jorginho presently remains the most important player in the team.
“I think that Jorginho, in this moment, is a very important player for us.” Sarri concluded.
It was reported during the summer window that Manchester City were on the verge of announcing his signature having reached an agreement with Napoli but Sarri made a last-minute move for the star player and successfully prevented Manchester City’s move from materializing.
Though Guardiola eventually signed Ryad Mahrez from Leicester City for £60m, the former Barcelona boss will be unhappy for not being able to get the midfielder.
