Tammy Abraham signed on a loan deal to join Aston Villa and he believes it was a great step ahead in his career. The 20-year old ace had already spent season-long loan spells at both Swansea and Bristol City with changing degrees of success.
However, for a player who was called up by England boss, Southgate to drop down to the Championship until the end of the season it may appear to be a little bit discouraging.
Reports also show that it was the former Chelsea legend, John Terry that prompted his arrival and also the influence of the highly rated Aston Villa’s midfielder, Jack Grealish.
With the transfer window, for EPL clubs and Europe thumping shut yesterday, Chelsea have confirmed that their young striker, Tammy Abraham, has gone out on loan.
According to Tammy:
“Villa are a big club that belongs in the Premier league and I’m here to help them achieve that.”
Some fans may suggest that the loan move is a retrospective step dropping into the Champions league after much experience in the Premier League while others believe that he would have been an important player to Sarri in the Europa cup alongside, other domestic cups.
Tammy has impressive records at the Championship and he will surely net multiple goals this season.
We believe that he will be part of Sarri’s team next season if there is no solution in the striking role.
