Done Deal! Club Manager Confirms Arsenal Star Deal

Reiss Nelson

Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson is set to move out of the Emirates Stadium this week as Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann reveals that the Bundesliga side have reached an agreement with the Gunners for the player’s signature.

The striker joined the North London club since he was a kid and he has developed into one of the most important youngsters in the club.

Nelson, 18, broke into Gunners first-team squad last season under Arsene Wenger and he was given much game-time in Europa League competition throughout the season.

Apart from his exploits for the club’s senior team, the youngster was able to lead the Gunners to Premier League 2 title last season.

He scored 10 goals for the U23 side as he led them to the trophy for the first time in recent years. As result of his impressive display for the team, Reiss Nelson was voted the best player in the Premier League 2 competition last season.

However, Arsene Wenger’s departure has prevented him from continuing his development in the game as he is likely not to have much game-time under Unai Emery this season.

With close of the transfer period, the Bundesliga side have reportedly paid a sum of £500,000 to Arsenal for the player’s signature on a season-long loan deal.

While confirming the report, Nagelsmann said he is interested in the youngster’s services and he was told his employers have reached an agreement with the Premier League outfits for his signature.

Quote from Julian Nagelsmann

“We’ve taken an interest in Reiss Nelson, I can disclose that. But nothing is set in stone as there are still things to clear up. ” he said
