After a season-long loan spell in Crystal Palace, Ruben Loftus-Cheek caught the eyes of England international coach Southgate to represent his country in Russia.

Afterwards, he called a halt to his World Cup with the aim of impressing his new manager but has only seen few minutes in Blue’s shirt in the last 3 successive Premier league matches.

His lack of playing times has made him disgruntled as he feels that it would cost him a place in the future England squads.

Sarri already has lots of attacking options in the midfield and the insertion of Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho means Loftus-Cheek may only be assessed when the blues need to play other league cups.

Sarri is poised that Ruben will remain until January when his future can be tested but the midfielder is yet unsettled and still feels the need to have more playing time should be accommodated.

Chelsea however, have shown no interest when Schalke 04 or AS Monaco came knocking for the versatile midfielder.

Both European clubs were acute on signing the England highly rated player this summer but Chelsea have rejected their advances, to Loftus-Cheek’s fury.

Crystal Palace manager, Roy Hodgson also admitted that the Eagles failed in their attempts to re-sign the 22-year old ace after featuring in 21 Premier League matches last season.

The international break is imminent but it seems unlikely that the young lad will be called up.
