Matteo Guendouzi denies tension in the dressing room

Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has largely amazed the fans with his impressive displays which earned him a position in the starting line-up under Unai Emery.

After the victory against West Ham on Saturday, the 19-year old summer signing from Lorient who enjoyed the rhythm of the game denies the rift between Mesut Ozil and the new manager.

“No, no, no, there were never tensions.”

“So now we won against West Ham and maybe we showed people who didn’t believe in us that we will be there this season and you have to count on us until the end of the season.”

The gunners are still considered as work in progress after the new manager took over from the 21 years of Arsene Wenger’s reign as manager last summer.

The Gunners are yet to keep a clean sheet in the last three matches and were almost fortunate to see yet another loss at the Emirate Stadium against West Ham.

According to Guendouzi:

“We know what we are capable of, we have a great squad, a great staff. It’s a great club, we can do great things this year.”

Unai Emery’s men will travel to Cardiff city stadium on the 2nd of September as they look forward to continuing the winning form and perhaps keep first clean sheet before the international break.
