‘He’s The Perfect Player We Want’ – United Fans Want £130,000-a-week Star At Old Trafford

United Fans Want Wilfred Zaha At Old Trafford

Manchester United fans are yet to get over their surprise defeat to Brighton last Sunday and couldn’t hide their feelings over the defeat as they took to social media to let out their frustrations on José Mourinho and his players.

As result of the team’s horrible performance on Sunday, the Red Devils faithfuls are calling on Woodward to re-sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfred Zaha, who once played for the club during Sir Ferguson’s reign.

The Ivorian star was impressive for the Eagles against Liverpool on Monday, though, he ends up on the losing side as the Reds recorded a hard-fought 2-0 victory at the Selhurst Park.

Wilfred Zaha was a thorn in the flesh of Liverpool’s defenders as he tormented Alexander-Arnold at the right flank of defence.

Having seen his wonderful display, Manchester United fans blamed Alex Ferguson for letting him leave the Old Trafford stadium in 2015, however, they want to see him return to Mourinho’s team in January.

Below are some comments from many fans via their verified Twitter accounts :

Jeff.(@MrJeffTrillest_) was furious with Alex Ferguson for selling the Ivorian without including a buyback clause

As for Paul Burton (@PaulBurton_15), it was painful for not giving the player much chance to prove his qualities before selling him on ‘cheap’ price

Another fan couldn’t comprehend how the club managed to terminate Zaha’s contract and keep Ashley Young.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils supporters might fail to get their request in January. This is because the player recently signed a three-year contract with the Selhurst Park outfits last month, making it hard for Mourinho to convince him to return to the Theater of Dreams next winter.
